Archer Daniels Midland is one of the largest grain traders and processers in the world. A large percentage of Illinois' corn and soybeans feed ADM's industrial plants.

They call themselves "Grain Merchants to the World." They are one of a handful of transnational corporations whose influence is helping transform rural life throughout the world.

This huge plant looms over the cornfields of Macon County, turning soybeans and corn into sucrose and other products.

Their new motto is "The Nature of What's to Come"
